First Kiss!!!

Good Morning studies it was! Early morning, after debacle of last semesters result, Monk and Hera had decided to try out studying in early morning, after all Vedas also mention so, something called as Brhma-Kaal! Well whatever may have been their source, they were trying the concept out.

Starting out at 5:00 in morning, Hera had chosen one of the lighter subject, and it paid off! Was able to concentrate very well, and before he could realize it was already 8:00, and it was time for some breakfast, as Hera's stomach made those growling sounds. And thats the first time Hera looked up from his book, and he was alone.

Hera looked around to find no one, where had Duds, Vee, Monk, Wari and Rocky suddenly gone? All their stuff is here! And then he checked for his bike, it was gone too! Checking pockets for Key? Gone too! And then it all came back to him, how about 1 hour back Monk had asked for keys to have breakfast and bath and come back by 8:30, and if he was going to accompany him or not. Hera had only given keys without saying anything.

Hera slumped back in to the bench and drifted into wonderland, looking straight over to next side of garden, thinking about how Monsoon used to be there, and what she would have been doing, studying ,.........and there she was.

Hera could not believe his eyes, so he closed them and pinched his own hand, and opened eyes....she was Gone! Hera smiled thinking "My mind is still playing games with me!" And Monsoon came and sat next to him, and said "Hi"!

Hera was startled, and when he calmed down, "So you were really there!" Looking towards the bench; on opposite side of garden.

Monsoon: "Yes, I saw you watching me, so you did recognize me from so far away."

Hera: "Yes, I would have, anywhere!"

Monsoon: "Anywhere? Really? How come?"

Hera: "Yes, anywhere, because I love you!" And Hera now realized what he had said, what had he said! It was too soon!

Monsoon: Calmly! "Why?"

Hera: "Why! Why?"

Monsoon: "I mean whats the reason you love me? Why do you love me? What do you know about me?"

Hera: "a...a...a...a....." Give up Hera! "I don't know!"

Monsoon: "Then how can you love me?"

Hera was now totally at loss of words, and did not new how to salvage the situation, one good thing, she did not seem to be angry, she did not seem to be going to hit him angry at-least.

Monsoon: "I know you did not have any ulterior motives, but still, you do not love me, you barely know me, it is just infatuation, may be after spending some time with me, you would not even like to be my friend! What then?"

Hera: "That will not happen, I am certain of that!"

Monsoon: "You might be now, but you cannot guarantee about future, may be you will may not, but what about me? You did not ask me whether I love you or not?"

Hera: Was stunned now! What to say now! "I understand what you mean now, I should have given you chance to me know better, us a chance rather. So can we be friends?"

Monsoon: "Well, that's what you should have asked me before, and as I had come down here, answer would have been yes. But knowing that you did not mean it in wrong way in your heart, I still say yes to friendship."

Hera: "Thank you! But what do you mean by Good at heart, I mean how do you know I am....a...You know what I mean?"

Monsoon: Grinning "Well! I know, because I heard what you said yesterday night, when you had your first kiss!"

Hera: "First kiss, yesterday night, I have never had a kiss!"

Monsoon: "Well, you did have your first kiss yesterday night, she gave it!" Pointing at black dog.

Hera looked at her and thought; lucky doggy! and then looked at Monsoon, well at least she is here!

Hera's friends come back, call few names at Hera and Monsoon and take books away to study, leaving both of them alone. Monsoon and Hera move on to normal thoughts, and subjects to talk about and then on to the books! Friendship-the first step of love was gained.
