               It was a nice day, and Hera was interested in lazing around, after all it was an off day of college and no writeup was there to write about. Hence, no one was going to wakeup or wake others up. However, something was making Hera uneasy about just sleeping. At first he thought it was sun, and ignored it as sun shifts with day, rays will move away from his bed. Of course, he could have just closed the door or curtains, but who would get up! But it did not stop even after an hour. 

               Hence, at last Hera got up, looked around to see Rack, Crack and Suun still sleeping on there beds without any problem in world. Checked around his bed, for source of discomfort, did not find any and so decided to go out. Cleaned up, in sense washed his face, brushed teeth and was out to have coffee. At the coffee shop, which was just next door, Uncle and Auntie, the owners and somehow still felt uneasy. Saw girls call home and say hi hello, on a hunch decided to do so too. Checked his purse and there was not much in there, had not remembered to get money out of the account. After much debating over use of money, went ahead and decided to call home for sure, so stepped in to booth and dialed number. 

              Tring........ Tring........Tring...........13 times no answer! Dialed again, Tring........Tring..........picked up, 

                Hera : "Hello" 

                From there : "yes"

                it was mom, 

                Hera: "How are you mummy?"

                Mom: "I am fine, tell me how are you? Are you eating properly? study hard son, i have sent some ladoos with your Papa, you should call more often...."

                Hera: "Papa is coming?"( When?)

                Mom: "Oh, i thought you have called from his cell phone. Well, then he will reach in an hour or so."

                Hera: (An Hour. got to run.)" I have to go mummy, I will call from papa's cell phone that will cost less. Okay bye! "

                And phone was cut.

                 Hera sprinted at full speed from booth to his room, shouted, kicked, punched, threw water all in a matter of 5 minutes, to wake up all of them, cursing him as they did wake up. But were surprised to see, what Hera was doing. 

                 In one hand Hera had a Jhadu, and with another was trying to unfold a new bed sheet and cover the bed. Without asking any questions, Rack got up and started cleaning his own bed, while crack ran for ashtray, a few buds lying in room and pack of cigarette. Suun , was still dumb founded and asked, 

                "Why are you ruining a perfect holiday by starting clean up mission! For gods sake its not deepawali!"

                 Rack: "Hera's father is coming." 

                 Suun: Thinking"Then why are you both cleaning up."

                 Crack:"Cause, if his father sees this room as it is, they will tell our parents."

                 Suun:"Oh God! By when will he reach here."

                 he also started cleaning up.

                 Hera:"Most probably, we have between 30 to 60 minutes."

                 All of them looked at Hera, and as they saw, he was not slowing down, they sped up. After all every ones parents knew there was a bai for the job of cleaning up! Which was obviously not true. 

                 Rack had started with Cracks' bed, while Crack had taken up the Jhadu and was sweeping as quickly as possible, while Hera had started to heat water for washing clothes, Suun went out and got washing powder, also had to pay for Hera's phone call. Suun started washing clothes, Hera got a bucket of water and poured it in room as soon as Crack had sweep-ed floor, wall and ceiling. And then let it flow out, using mop the two of them, Crack and Hera cleaned the floor. Rack went in to balcony and cleaned most of it, then when it was clear that all the leaves that are there outside can not be racked out of house and burned in time, he made a mountain of it, and hoped someone could do something of it.  

                  Everything else was done, except hanging clothes for drying and the leaves lying in balcony. What to do, what to do? Then Hera got an idea. he ran in, lifted Racks' bed and removed the cover of his mattress.  Looking at Hera, Rack to joined in and soon both were filling the leaves in to the cover, which looked like a big gunny bag.  Still no idea, what to do, meanwhile, Crack and Suun were hand drying the clothes, one was holding the jeans tight with all his might, while the other twisted it around to drain water from it and hanging them on balcony wall. Mean while Monc came in and seeing the cleanness of the room was surprised. Seeing, the make shift gunny bag, he said "So you are making an extra bed in balcony! great, I will help you flatten it out."

                   And thats what they did, got an extra bed sheet and spread it over the new mattress and finally relaxed. Absent in there mission, all 5 of them did not realized the interest they generated among girls of the two hostel that was straight opposite to there balcony. Who watched there ordeal with much interest. Then Hera's father arrived, and all got complements for keeping the room clean. And scolding for not having bathed even though it was 15:00 in afternoon!

                    That evening, they had a short party, after having bathed and worn clean clothes, ate the homemade food brought by Hera's father, Hera called his mother and everyone saddled for the night. Next day, Hera's father left for home town while all roommates decided to have a run around city, after all, it was another off day.......
